RCHS Capital Campaign
In
October 2001 the Rensselaer County Historical Society opened a
new door to art, history and culture for the Capital Region when
the newly renovated Carr Building was reopened after a year of
construction.
Thanks to individuals, foundations, corporations
and state grants through Senator Joseph L. Bruno, over $2.7 has
been raised to create new galleries and visible collections storage
space, install new environmental systems, and consolidate staff
offices.
More needs to be done, however, to fully renovate
the Carriage House and install interactive exhibits as a place
for families to explore history. A community capital campaign
- Keeping History -- will raise an additional $100,000 for this
purpose.

Campaign and how you can contribute, please contact Director Robert
