Lady's walking dress, c. 1870 Wool and satin RCHS collections have numerous costumes for women, men, children from a variety of periods. This dress would have been worn in cooler weather and would have shown the wearer to be up on the latest fashion.	Coverlet, c. 1845 Overshot weave. This is just one example from the large textile collection at RCHS. This piece has a light blue cotton warp and a combination of red and dark blue wool and light blue cotton weft threads. Two loom widths are joined in a center seam. There is a fringe at the bottom only.
